What Exactly is a Digital Prosthesis?

The digital prosthesis represents the next generation of conventional prosthetics. Thanks to advancements in 3D technology, the uncomfortable experience of biting into a tray of impression material is now a thing of the past! With the aid of a sophisticated intraoral scanner, we capture a highly detailed image of your mouth and teeth. We then use these digitized details to design a new set of teeth that boasts an exceptional and comfortable fit. Have you lost your dentures? Not to worry – since your dental data is digitized, we're equipped to assist you swiftly in emergencies. Additionally, the digital prosthesis is covered under your basic insurance plan.

STAP 1.

Schedule your complimentary consultation close to home.

During your complimentary consultation, you'll meet your dedicated Eezy specialist, explore your desires, and have ample opportunity to ask any questions. Whether you're in need of a full denture, a partial one, or perhaps you're considering a denture on implants (snap-in denture), we'll navigate through your options together and sketch out what your treatment plan could look like. Additionally, we often have the ability to determine what expenses your insurer will cover right at our initial meeting.

I have a full upper and lower denture.

To initiate the scanning process, we apply a very thin layer of impression material onto your current prosthesis. Then, you'll insert the prosthesis as usual. Your Eezy specialist will then remove the prosthesis from your mouth and conduct a scan of its interior. This technique allows us to precisely identify how to make the prosthesis fit perfectly. This process is referred to as relining. At your next appointment, your new teeth will be ready for you. It's incredibly fast and eliminates the need for biting into a messy, overloaded impression tray!

I only have a lower or upper denture (single jaw).

When you have either a lower or an upper denture alone, the process largely mirrors that of having a complete set of both upper and lower dentures. In addition to relining your existing denture, we also employ advanced scanning technology to precisely map your jawline alongside any remaining teeth, completely eliminating the need for traditional impression materials.

I have a partial or frame prosthesis.

Are you considering a new partial or frame denture? If so, we'll digitally scan your entire dental structure, a process that only takes about 15 to 20 minutes. From the detailed scan of your teeth, we craft a new partial or frame denture specifically for you, all without the need for traditional impression materials!

I still have teeth but want a full denture.

Are you struggling with poor dental health or find yourself with only a few remaining teeth? If so, you're invited to visit us for a complimentary, informative consultation at an Eezy location, where we'll explore all the options available to you. Often, we can directly refer you to a dentist on-site who will assess whether your teeth can be removed in preparation for a denture. The dentist will prepare a separate estimate for this procedure. From Eezy, you'll receive an estimate for the denture itself. If everything looks good to you, then we're ready to proceed! We'll scan your jaw, and once the dentist has completed the extraction, Eezy takes over again. Meanwhile, a temporary immediate denture is fabricated based on the scan, ensuring you won't have to go a day without teeth. This immediate denture serves as a temporary solution. Six months later, you'll receive your permanent denture. Eezy supports you throughout the entire treatment process. We're here for you every step of the way!
